Ontario pull-up leather is a full-grain, aniline dyed leather finished with a combination of transparent natural waxes and hot oils. Complete tanning process usually lasts 5 weeks: that allows oils and waxes to melt with leather fibers so to create a strong bond: result is an extremely smooth leather that can last forever!
When this leather is stretched or pulled, the color migrates and becomes lighter in the pulled areas.
As a pure aniline leather, little scratches and signs of wear (easy to recover) will create a unique vintage look and a rich patina will increase over time.
